You are on Santorini island! Come on! Have you ever been in a place when you can dream with no control? White marble all around, bright sun, endless blue and you lose your mind! This picture was shot at Oia, the most famous village of Santorini because of it’s worldwide known sunset, a sunset like a dream …

Jet Black Vogue

Santorini, Greece

Santorini, Greece

Well, Jet Black, why? Because those black umbrellas caught my eye directly when I was passing by. The white house, in combination with the blue sky created a huge contrast with those black figures. Look at them, they are like models posing for you. That’s why I called it Vogue.

Exit

Oia, Kikladhes, Greece

Santorini, Greece

Exit to where? Well, where is the open sea flirting with the blue sky, above the beautiful island of Santorini. Exit is over there when you don’t have to think, you have just to breath with clear mind and gazing the endless beyond the exit!

Professional Church

Oia, Kikladhes, Greece

Mediterranean Men Magazine

Church: Place of religion and faithful. But church as a building is a human creation, a creation of stone and lines. Pro – Church, a church that is professional of design and Cycladic beauty. If you planning visit Oia you MUST stand there and watch the beauty of this structure.

The day I posted this picture on my personal account on Instagram was the day the Greek government opened the borders with other countries! Due to these difficult days and hard situations, our Greece tried to be the light on the darkness of our days, letting everyone to enjoy the Greek summer, a summer like nowhere else.

Just this! Join with someone this spectacular view, hold your hands, take a deep breath and silence, only the sound of the waves hitting the rocks, the sea birds praising the beauty of nature and the sun touching your faces before it’s beautiful “death” inside the open sea.

Edge Cross

Imerovigli, Santorini, Greece

Mediterranean Men Magazine

Right down the Imerovigli area, after a few stairs, you come face to face with this amazing structure. A church right in the edge of the hill. Looks strong against the wind, above the sea level. You have just to sit close, nothing more, nothing less! You will remember me…

Drone

Platys Gialos, Sifnos

Platys Gialos, Sifnos

This was one of my first drone shots. I was watching the boats dancing to the rhythm of the sea while the sounds of sea birds playing like the most beautiful song in my ears. Then I stand to set my drone ready for it’s first summer flight, after taking off and hovering above the boats I just shot one of my favourite pictures I’ve ever taken until today. White boats floating on the deep blue sea created an uncompromising image of a Cycladic photograph.

Stairs

Oia, Kikladhes, Greece

I was walking around Oia, sun was going to set and the wind was blowing gently! I clearly remember that my cigarette fall and the moment I stooped to get it from the floor a come face to face with this amazing picture, some stairs driving to the ultimate view. Taking out my iPhone to caught the moment was the only thought in my mind. I think that I could staying there enjoying my cigarette forever …

Window

Imerovigli, Santorini, Greece

Mediterranean Men Magazine

Such a common view to see buildings above the cliffs on Santorini. But this one get me interest by the first glance. Classical, traditional and picturesque, this beautiful building was just breathtaking, it was like hovering above the sea level. Imagine … being on a sofa behind of one of those windows watching the sun sets near the volcano. Shivering …

Duo X

Santorini, Kamari

Mediterranean Men Magazine

I think that Cycladic style churches are one my favourite issues for photography. But I think those Duo of domes are more than amazing. Soft blue combined with white, but twice, didn’t let me eyes get away from them. “X” stands for cross by the way.

As I said, Cycladic style churches are one of my favourites. This small church in front of the port of Aegina is really spectacular! It’s not located at Cyclades Island group but it’s more beautiful than plenty of other churches out there. It caught my eye rapidly, I just let my backpack and I set my iPhone ready to capture this beauty. I think the result is amazing.
